01 — Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using The Shepherd's Table ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is operated by Thinking Apps AI. These terms govern your use of the App on any platform, including iOS and Android.
02 — Description of Service
The Shepherd's Table is a Christian spiritual companion app that provides AI-assisted conversation, daily scripture, and guided prayer features. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
The App is a spiritual companion tool, not a substitute for pastoral care, professional counselling, or medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis helpline in your country.
03 — Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may not use the App.
04 — Account
You may sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that engage in behaviour harmful to other users or the service.
To delete your account, you may use the in-app account deletion option in the Profile screen, or visit shepherdstable.app/delete-account.
05 — AI Features & Anthropic
The AI guide feature is powered by Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic, PBC. When you send a message to the guide, it is processed by Anthropic's servers to generate a response.
The AI guide is not a human, a pastor, a therapist, or a medical professional. Responses are generated by a language model and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate to your situation. Use your own judgement and consult qualified professionals for serious matters of faith, health, or wellbeing.
You agree not to use the AI guide to generate content that is harmful, abusive, illegal, or contrary to the Christian values the App is designed to uphold.
06 — Subscriptions & Payments
The App offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Seeker, Believer, Devotee) billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
The Seeker plan is currently available in India only. Believer and Devotee plans are available globally.

All content in the App — including the name, logo, design, UI, verse curation, and AI prompt architecture — is the property of Thinking Apps AI and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Scripture passages are from the World English Bible (WEB), which is in the public domain.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.
09 — Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully — in particular, note that your conversations are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
10 — Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated responses for any particular purpose, spiritual or otherwise.
11 — Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Thinking Apps AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12 — Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the App or by email.
13 — Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Thinking Apps AI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
