01 — Who We Are
The Shepherd's Table is a Christian AI spiritual companion app developed and operated by Thinking Apps AI. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application.

02 — What We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the app.
Account information — when you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a unique user ID from that provider. We do not receive or store your password.
Profile preferences — your denomination, region, and the reason you downloaded the app. These are used solely to personalise the AI guide's responses.
Subscription status — your current subscription tier (Free, Seeker, Believer, or Devotee), managed via Google Play or Apple App Store billing.
Anonymised usage signals — aggregated, non-identifiable events such as feature usage counts. We use these to understand how the app is used in aggregate. No personally identifiable information is attached to these events.
03 — What We Do Not Collect
Your conversations stay on your device. Chat history is stored exclusively in your device's local storage and is never transmitted to our servers. We cannot read, access, or retrieve your conversations.

04 — AI Processing & Anthropic
The Shepherd's Table uses Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic, PBC (anthropic.com), to power the AI guide feature.
When you send a message to the guide, your message and a small amount of personalisation context (your denomination and region — never your name or email) are transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate a response. This transmission is encrypted in transit.
Anthropic processes these messages in accordance with their own privacy policy, available at anthropic.com/legal/privacy. We encourage you to review it.
We do not store the content of your messages on our servers before or after they are sent to Anthropic. The response is delivered to your device and stored locally.
05 — How We Use Your Data
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your data with any party other than those listed in this policy.

07 — Data Retention & Deletion
Your account data (email, user ID, denomination, region, subscription status) is retained while your account is active.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at thinkingapps.ai@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Deleting the app from your device permanently removes all locally stored data including your chat history and saved prayers. This data cannot be recovered.
08 — Children's Privacy
The Shepherd's Table is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at thinkingapps.ai@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
09 — Security
All data transmitted between the app and our services is encrypted in transit using TLS. Profile data stored in Firebase is protected by Firebase's security rules, accessible only to authenticated users viewing their own record.
10 — Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
